Today in class we reviewed atomic numbers, Mass numbers and isotopes.
We then learned how to calculate the atomic mass.

Also, you must review trhe science fair link for instructions on writing your science fair proposals, due next Tuesday 9/17.

Next Class: TEST so study your study guides and get help if needed.

Hi Class
Today we did the Coke Vs. Diet Coke Density Lab. Your homework is to complete your conclusion, which is to include the questions from the worksheet your received, the identity of A and B, which must be supported by your data, and your comments on how the lab went and how to improve. Also include whose procedures your team followed.

Please email me your hypothesis and science fair titles this weekend
email to: Pualeilehua@gmail.com

Have a great weekend.

September 4

Hi Class,
After the long weekend, I hope you all studied. You took a retest today.
In addition, we did the prelab for your Coke vs. Diet Coke: Determining the identity of a soda using density.
You all learned about density = mass / volume
You will be writing your procedure for the lab as a part of the prelab. You will submit for approval before beginning the lab
I outlined for all of you the criteria for preparing your lab notebooks. Remember it must be done, and you must bring your goggles, or you will not be allowed to do the lab, and will receive a zero.

Homework:
Prelab
Classifying matter worksheets.
